deView’s ATM Cameras: The Solution to Combat ATM Machine Crime

Attacks against ATM machines, including card skimming, card trapping, robbery, vandalism, are a growing problem. In order to help the financial sector prevent ATM crime and reduce lost revenue, deView has specifically designed the WDRE29ATM and WDRE29-12ATM for use within ATM machine applications.

The cameras integrate the Orca Chipset from Pixim® and with the ultra-wide dynamic range, high resolution, excellent colour rendering, suppression of blooming/smearing, they enable the capture of details from both the darkest and lightest ranges of a scene simultaneously. This means that the cameras can see facial details of people entirely in the shadow of the ATM machine, or backlit by strong glare, or standing a bit further back in bright sunlight.

The Prison Domes Designed for the Toughest Environments

The VDM15 series is the perfect solution to secure prisons but also other external industrial, commercial, education and retail environments. It provides an absolute vandal proof performance combined with an outstanding video image quality.

The housing integrates a die-cast aluminium case rated IP66 with a scratch resistant polycarbonate bubble that can withstand heavy impacts. It can be surface or flush mounted both internally and externally and features a unique conical shape with numerous mounting points to allow for greater security and less chance of physical interference.

The VDM15 domes are available with high quality colour and day/night camera modules with HQ-1 DSP, Wide Dynamic Pixim® Technology and True Day Night, supplied on a 3-axis gimbal and come with a choice of 2.9~10mm and 9~22mm varifocal lenses.

deView now offers the ultimate in vandal proof product. We are pleased to announce that the deView vandal domes have been indepently tested to determine their level of impact protection, which is represented by the IK code.

This all-digital system enables Pixim®-Powered cameras to efficiently capture the whole picture, regardless of lighting condition or application – thus securing the highest resolution, natural colour and clarity, while automatically eliminating image compromising visual noise (e.g. glare, reflections).
